Our story

Why Criced exists

British independent schools have educated some of the world’s finest cricketers — but the path into those schools is not always obvious for families outside the UK. Criced was built to bridge that gap.

We believe a young cricketer’s future should not depend on who their parents know or which school they have heard of. Our team works directly with families to understand each child’s academic level, cricketing ability and character, then matches them with schools where they will genuinely thrive.

From first enquiry to first day of term, we stay involved: school shortlists, scholarship trials, UKiset and entrance-exam preparation, visa paperwork, guardian arrangements and travel planning. We also advise UK independent schools on international recruitment, immersion programmes and cricket festivals.

Quotes you can use

We started from Lahore with no idea which UK schools even took international boarders. CRICED narrowed it to three schools, prepared our son for UKiset, and he now has an offer from a school with a strong cricket programme.

Criced is the Welsh word for Cricket. As a proudly Welsh company, the name reflects our roots and our passion for connecting talented young cricketers with outstanding UK independent schools.
